Sometimes I feel the word "vintage" is overused, but it's not like it's irritating. It's more like I don't want it to become one of THOSE words that people think other people toss around because it's chic or trendy or whatever.

"Vintage" should defy all trends, and if you think about what it really means, it can't go out of fashion. I've recently become a big fan of vendor markets, vendor malls, whatever you want to call them. It's not like I hit the jackpot every time. Actually, what would be the fun in that? But when I do make THAT discovery, it's a great day.

You can imagine, then, if it's announced that a great big old vintage market is coming to a city near me, I've already red-lettered the day and am ready for action.
