Evansville to Host the Indiana Vintage Market This April
Sometimes I feel the word "vintage" is overused, but it's not like it's irritating. It's more like I don't want it to become one of THOSE words that people think other people toss around because it's chic or trendy or whatever.
"Vintage" should defy all trends, and if you think about what it really means, it can't go out of fashion. I've recently become a big fan of vendor markets, vendor malls, whatever you want to call them. It's not like I hit the jackpot every time. Actually, what would be the fun in that? But when I do make THAT discovery, it's a great day.
You can imagine, then, if it's announced that a great big old vintage market is coming to a city near me, I've already red-lettered the day and am ready for action.
Indiana Vintage Market
The Indiana Vintage Market travels, so it doesn't necessarily wind up in our backyard every time. But on Saturday, April 12th, it will all unfold at the Old National Events Plaza in Evansville. Speaking of "unfolding," you'll love a huge selection of vintage clothing but home goods, vinyl albums, and other items will also populate the more than 50 booths that vendors will have set up.
Also, when visit the Indiana Vintage Market's Facebook page, you'll notice it spotlights individual vendors from each show. To get an idea of what specifically to expect at the Indiana Vintage Market, check out this description from the Indianapolis event.
The Indiana Vintage Market will be open from 12 PM to 5 PM on Saturday, April 12th. Your "time machine" awaits.
