Warrick Humane Society Pet of the Week: Asher

Every good boy needs a home. This hound dog is no exception. Let's learn more about this week's pet of the week, Asher.

The Warrick Humane Society is an established no-kill shelter in Newburgh, Indiana. The shelter offers a safe place for animals to stay until they are adopted. Since the Warrick Humane Society does not receive any government funding, it relies on donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers to operate the shelter. They also have the Home Away Pet Spa, a grooming and boarding facility for the community, where all proceeds help the animals in the shelter.

The Warrick Humane Society has so many great cats and dogs in their care that need a loving forever home. So, there is an excellent likelihood that the WHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Meet our Piece of Cake Pet of the Week, Asher!

This week's pet of the week is named Asher, and he's much more than just a hound dog. In fact, he's actually got manners, and he's very sweet. Here's what the Warrick Humane Society had to say about our little friend, Asher:

Asher is a 6-year-old Hound mix who has been patiently waiting 54 days for a home of his own. He came to us from Winair Rescue Corporation, and while we don’t know much about his past, we do know that he is a very sweet, gentle, and well-mannered boy who’s ready for a fresh start.
Asher is up to date on vaccines, deworming, and prevention, is microchipped, and neutered. He has a calm, easygoing personality and has been a joy to get to know here at the shelter. He enjoys spending time with people and would love a home where he can relax, feel safe, and finally settle in.
