Meet The Strangers at Kentucky Filming Location Camping Event
Is Tamra Home? All three strangers from The Strangers: Prey at Night are returning to Kentucky, where most of the movie was filmed, for a really cool event.
If you were to ask me what one of the most terrifying movies I have ever seen was, I'd say The Strangers. Why? It's very simple: When the strangers are preying upon their victims in the movie, they are asked why they are doing it. Their response was so chilling that it makes it feel like that could have been literally anyone in that situation. "Because you were home," one stranger said. Watching that movie for the first time and realizing that I was at home too made me want to get up and lock the doors. (Caution: There are some violent moments in the clip below after that line is delivered)
There have been four other Strangers movies released since the original in 2008. The last three were a three-part reboot. However, my personal favorite was the 2018 follow-up to the original, The Strangers: Prey At Night. I feel there was a lot more suspense and scares. I really enjoyed the movie. You really find yourself rooting for the main characters, but you are still somewhat intrigued by the strangers themselves.
One thing about the movie that I didn't realize was that some of it was actually filmed in Kentucky. Some of the biggest scenes were filmed at Kincaid Lake State Park in Falmouth, Kentucky. This includes that infamous pool scene, which we will talk about in a second. What's really cool is that the Strangers are coming back to Kentucky, where the movie was filmed, for a really cool overnight event that will be epic!
