Plans have been announced for the 3rd Annual Jammin' for St. Jude Concert. The Howard family of Knottsville, Kentucky created the event a couple of years ago to continue their decade-long fundraising efforts for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.

Since its inception, the concert series has proven to be a huge success. The 2022 event resulted in a massive donation during the 2023 WBKR/Window World St. Jude Radiothon.

The Howards raised a whopping $26,000 at their concert and, this year, they're aiming for an even bigger total.

The family just released the official "save the date" for this year's concert. It's Saturday, September 9th at 8905 Short Station Road in Philpot, Kentucky.

The family also just announced their headliner for the 2023 Jammin' for St. Jude- Cam Thompson!

Over the weekend, Cam took the stage at PorchFest and will soon be taking the stage in Philpot too.  Also, Cam recently released a new song that he'll be performing at the show.

Of course, Cam is already familiar with the power and reach of St. Jude. In February this year, he joined us for our WBKR St. Jude Radiothon and used his talents to help us raise money and gain Partners-in-Hope for the hospital.

Joining Cam at Jammin' for St. Jude will be Kalico, Mark and Emily Shelton (a talented, powerhouse couple that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the hospital), Parker McManaway, Latasha Shemwell, Lily Hoffman, the Oklahoma Hunnies (the 2022 Friday Night Fight champions), Chris Winfield and, of course, Gavin Howard- who years ago inspired his family to donate to St. Jude.

In addition to live music, Jammin' for St. Jude will feature pork sandwiches, pork nachos, burgers, hot dogs and more. There will also be a huge silent auction with great items up for bid.
