George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln,  Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis, and now Martin Luther King. What do they all have in common? They’ve been immortalized in stone. You can BE immortalized in stone. It’s not going anywhere. But can you be immortalized in corn? Well, you can try. And if you’re a member of Big Blue Nation, that’s likely just how you will characterize what can now be seen at Kelley Farms in Lexington. You see, part of Kelley Farms’ Giant Corn Maze is now a likeness of University of Kentucky head basketball coach John Calipari. And while rabid Wildcat fans will be quick to call it an immortalization, it really isn’t. Corn dies. Not immortal. But hey, it’s really cool nonetheless. And congratulations to whomever designed it and then did the actual cutting and chopping to get it finished. It’s very impressive. I mean really, someone at Kelley Farms has some pretty decent artistic chops. Ah, ‘Cat fans. You gotta love ‘em.
