Keith Urban Returning To ‘American Idol’

Well at least one judge will be returning to Idol next season.

Fox Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly confirmed Thursday that country artist Keith Urban will return next season. The announcement was made at the Television Critics Association's semi-annual press tour in Beverly Hills. As you may recall, the other three judges from this past season, including longtime mainstay Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj, and Mariah Carey, all decided not to return.

The latest names being thrown around to fill two more seats, not three, include Will.i.am, former Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson, and Jennifer Lopez, who was a judge during seasons 10 and 11.
