There's an awesome adult-only swimming hole in Kentucky that you need to add to your summertime bucket list.

During the summer, families tend to find some fun things that they can do to keep the kiddos entertained. That within itself can be trying. Sometimes, Mom and Dad need some time away from the kiddos to have some fun. That's where some fun adult-only events come into play (keep your head out of the gutter, I'm not talking about that kind of fun). That's exactly what you'll find at this adult-only swimming hole in Kentucky.

Kentucky Adult-Only Rock Quarry

There's a swimming hole in LaGrange, Kentucky that has some of the cleanest and bluest water in the area. You can float, paddle, snorkel, and even dive into this rock quarry there. Falling Rock Park is about two hours from Evansville, so it's a perfect weekend road trip for you and your friends to have a blast together.

According to their website:

Explore our one-of-a-kind Bluegrass sanctuary nestled in the lush hills of Oldham County, KY. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty while gently floating on a crystal-clear, spring-fed body of water, letting your worries drift away. Embark on exciting adventures like snorkeling to discover the depths or gliding serenely across the expansive lake on a paddleboard, pedal boat, kayak, or canoe available for rent. Stay active by playing on the sandy volleyball court, corn hole, wandering the beaches, and exploring the island, all while keeping cool in the refreshing blues of the water. A day at FRP promises relaxation, rejuvenation, and unforgettable memories to cherish forever!

One of the most interesting things about Falling Rock Park is that the quarry water is filled up with nothing but rainwater. No ground runoff dumps into the quarry, the water is free of chemicals, and motorized water sports are prohibited. This means that the water is clear, clean, natural, and absolutely beautiful!

This Whole Place Is Kid Free

That's right, this is an adult-only waterpark. Why? Their website says that because the quarry is 55+ feet deep with limited shallow areas and the fact that there are no lifeguards on duty, everyone must be 18 or older. Now, before you get too excited about having a kid-free trip to a place like this, I do have to make mention of one thing. If you're thinking that you're just going to float around all day while sipping on an adult beverage, think again. No alcohol or drugs are allowed on the premises. That doesn't mean you still can't have some adult-only fun though!
