Kentucky College Kid Wins Best Light Display Contest In Kentucky & Indiana
Light Up The Tri-State took place during the month of December. The contest encouraged folks to submit their best light display photos for a chance to win money.
HERE'S HOW THE CONTEST WORKED
Hundreds of photos came from all over Kentucky and Indiana;
Submit photos of your family Christmas lights for a chance to win! To be eligible, photographs must have been shot by the entrant in 2022 and must be of the entrant's home or business. You must own the photo you are submitting. You retain your rights to your photograph; however, by entering the contest, you grant Townsquare Media a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display your photograph, in whole or in part, on our websites and social media properties. If you choose to share your address below, it will be published on our websites for our audience to come to view your amazing Christmas lights!
AND THE WINNER IS...
The winner of Light Up The Tri-State is, Carter Hoagland. We have previewed Carter multiple times since 2020. Carter started out decorating years ago as just a fun hobby and now it has turned into a full-blown job that's helping foot the bill for college He is attending school at Kentucky Wesleyan College here in Owensboro where he plays soccer. Since he started decorating others have taken notice of his talents and he is decorating houses for others. He decorates several houses and uses the money for school and to pay for more lights. His mom says he mows in the summer as well to help raise money. Carter won $500
