Kentucky December 2021 Tornado Video Reminds Us We Need To Be Prepared-VIDEO
Five months after Kentucky was hit hard by the December 10 tornado we are still a bit shaken by the aftermath. With the possibility of severe weather and tornados here are some great tips on what to do in the event you find yourself staring down a twister.
CAPTURING THE TERRIFYING SIGHT OF THE TORNADO
One WBKR listener captured footage off Hwy 431 just 3.6 miles from Bremen. The home you see in the distance is their neighbor's and it was taken out by the massive storm. This video shows just how large it was and how fast it was moving. When watching it the lighting and darkness of the sky go in and out but you can catch glimpses of it as it grows and moves quickly across the ground. The storm it brings with it is so crazy.

WEATHER FORECAST
From the National Weather Service;
Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop over southeast Missouri early Wednesday afternoon, then progress eastward through the rest of the region later Wednesday afternoon and evening along and ahead of a cold front. Damaging winds, large hail, and even some tornadoes will all be possible with this system.
In addition, torrential rainfall with these thunderstorms may produce flash flooding, especially in southern portions of western Kentucky where 2 to 5 inches of rain fell last night.
