Kentucky Has a Great Shot to Beat Florida…and I Found 28 Reasons Why It Will Happen
Okay, guys, I love college football. But I cannot write about it as fluidly as I can college basketball. So I'll let Mrs. Tyler Thompson do it.
A little history.
The last time Kentucky beat Florida I was a 20-year-old college junior and Ronald Reagan was the president.
It is the nation's longest winning streak by one FBS team over another.
A dubious distinction if ever there was one.
But I feel something in the wind. It's that something you feel when the UK football team snaps a 22-game road losing streak.
It's that something you feel when the UK football team snaps that streak on the home field of an SEC opponent--something that hasn't happened since 2009.
And it's that something you feel when Florida barely beats East Carolina in Gainesville a week before heading to Commonwealth Stadium.
Again, it's a feeling. There are never any guarantees.
But Mrs. Tyler Thompson seems to be making them with her list of 28 Reasons Why This Is The Year Kentucky Breaks Florida’s 28-Game Winning Streak.
It's a fun list and many of the reasons are MEANT for fun.
But I'll lend validity to #'s 2, 8, 12, 14, 18, and maybe, JUST MAYBE, #28.
I'm enjoying this.
