Which Team-Inspired Sundae Will Win the Lic’s Ice Cream Bowl?
How do you like to watch the big game? At a party with lots of people and snacks? At home in your PJs to tune in for the commercials? I'm not even that huge of a sports fan, but I love getting ready for that special Sunday spent screaming at the TV.
We now know who will be performing the halftime show and which teams will be taking the field at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Our friends at Lic's Deli & Ice Cream have come up with something creative, delicious, and FUN to celebrate. The Inaugural Ice Cream Bowl.
At all locations, you can order one or both signature limited-time sundaes inspired by each football fandom. Vote for your favorite to see which one wins and guess the final score of the real game for a chance to win free ice cream for a year!
Chad and I went by the Owensboro location to check out these incredible creations and show you how they are made. Cheyenne showed us where the magic happens behind the counter. Here's the New England Classic:
A close-up for you, my dear. Cappuccino ice cream, hot fudge, crushed waffle cone, whipped cream, red and blue sprinkles, a choco creme, and an American flag.
Here is the Seattle Sloo:
Mint Chocolate chip ice cream, hot fudge, crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, whipped cream, blue and green sprinkles, and a choco creme to top it off. Here's the close-up.
Two very different flavors, but both absolutely delicious! I honestly had trouble choosing which one I liked best, but Chad was pretty confident about the New England Classic being his favorite. He doesn't even drink coffee, but he LOVED it. It's hard to go wrong either way with Lic's locally handmade goodness.
