Life’s a Beach at This Giant Indoor Ocean Playground in Indianapolis

You don't have to travel to the coast for the family to get a taste of the ocean. There's a little piece of fun ocean paradise in Indianapolis for your kiddos to enjoy.

Finding fun things to do with the kids can get hard sometimes, especially if you're trying to find new things to do. The other day, I was scrolling through Facebook and I saw someone share a post about an indoor ocean-themed playground that also has a virtual reality arcade. Just looking at the photo in the post, I was intrigued by it so I had to look it up for myself. Upon seeing what all they had there, I knew I had to share it with you because it looks really cool.

Smiley Indoor Park is a 25,000 square foot indoor playground and virtual reality arcade located in Indianapolis. So it's not too far from the Evansville area. It's a place designed to keep kids of all ages entertained. Smiley is one of those places that I wish we had when I was a kid because I would have been there all of the time.

MORE SOUTHERN INDIANA TRAVEL 

Their giant indoor playground includes a trampoline basketball court, tubes & slides, rock-climbing, an obstacle course, fast raceway slides, a ball pit, and more. The playground area is designed for children ages 9 months to 10 years old. However, if you have kids over the age of 10, they can still have some fun there with their virtual reality arcade. The virtual reality center has HTC VIVE Pro headsets, Playstation 4s, Xbox Ones, as well as arcade rides and simulations. Oh...and they have a café there too in case you get hungry during your time there.
