A popular children's clothing shop that's been open for 7- years has closed its doors. With a heavy heart Lisa Aull, the boutique's owner, announced the closing on social media this morning.

I'm sure today has been a tough day for the owner, staff, and customers of Lil Bit Sassy in Downtown Owensboro. The hip children's boutique is a family staple and the neighborhood shop will be missed. It couldn't have been an easy decision to make, but family and health come first. The store has officially closed.

This was news nobody expected to read this morning. Lil Bit Sassy was a great place to shop and find unique, high-quality clothing and accessories for children and teens. They've officially shut their doors. Lisa made the unexpected announcement this morning on social media. Health and family obligations have shifted her priorities.

"I’ve been debating for months &
With all my heart I am HAPPY to say I am retiring Lil Bit Sassy.
I have other obligations that need my attention.

I have had the best 7 years, met strangers that have become family & am thankful for all the laughter.

I want to personally thank my TEAM for helping me, especially over the last 28 months- I have been gone for health reasons, more than I have been able to be in store, I love & appreciate you more than you will ever know.

I will focus on health, healing, farming & being a stay-at-home wife - that’s the life for me.

GOD has shifted my priorities & I am THANKFUL for this next stage. We plan to live our best lives for the rest of our lives."
