Limited Amount of Hunt’s Tomato Paste Cans Being Recalled
Conagra Brands is voluntarily recalling a limited amount of Hunt’s Tomato Paste No Salt Added six ounce cans because of the potential for mold. Here's what you need to know.
I'll need to check my cupboard as this is the brand I use for spaghetti and chili. I always try to find salt free anything when I cook. Be sure to check yours too! The cans that are affected have a UPC code of 2105902510 and an expiration date of Oct. 16, 2020.
According to the FDA notice, Conagra Brands recalled the no salt added six-ounce cans.
"Conagra Brands, Inc. (NYSE: CAG) is voluntarily recalling a limited amount of Hunt’s Tomato Paste No Salt Added six ounce cans. After the canning process, the final product could have been damaged, creating the potential for mold.Conagra Brands became aware of the issue after receiving calls from consumers."
