Little Debbie is on the Naughty List for Discontinuing Her Chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes
I've never known a world without Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and thank goodness! They first made their debut in 1985. Did you know that they didn't have their signature shape until 2012? Somehow I always remember them the way they are now. No matter the shape, they're delicious.
The chocolate version of this favorite treat came not long after and quickly became another sought-after snack cake. Now, Little Debbie has a whole army of Holiday goodies including Cherry Cordials, Gingerbread soft cookies, Christmas Tree Brownies, and even a new mini donut version of the classic Christmas Tree cake.

And that's not even the whole list! I guess when you're making that many treats it's hard to keep up with them all. Unfortunately one of the goodies is not going to be available this year. I'm sorry to break this news, but the chocolate version of the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake is discontinued...for now.
Sammy Tanner shared his strong feelings about this disappointing development on Facebook. "I just found out they have discontinued the Chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes this season and I am not happy. I hope Santa leaves Little Debbie a lump of coal in her stocking."
After announcing this information on the air this morning, we've had so many folks call in totally bummed out and even peeved by this news. "Little Debbie is on my NERVES!" someone said. Another friend of ours called and had us rolling, "I don't even know where Christmas Tree Cakes grow to chop down my own!"
I hope this doesn't make your Christmas sad and blue. While this won't be the same, here is a video tutorial for some super cute chocolate cake pops that may sweeten things up.
