Loretta Lynn is still making friends and in return making music. Though the Country Music icon recently had to cancel some shows in March to have torn cartilage repaired in her right knee, she is planning to return to the stage for a birthday show in Toledo Ohio, according to The Toledo Free Press. She is set to celebrate her 76th birthday at the show, and there is now talk of a songwriting collaboration in the works with Miranda Lambert. There is no slowing down the outspoken Kentucky native. From being married at 14 yrs old to being a living legend and current music staple in her 70's there is no end in sight. As a matter of fact according to an interview with The Toledo Free Press she has plans for an upcoming album with sisters Crystal Gayle and Peggy Sue, a Christmas album, and a religious album...plus some knew stuff. Just goes to show you, you can't keep a good old Ky girl down. Loretta has been entertaining and inspiring me since I was a little girl, so how long have you been a fan?
