Linda Blair Headlines Louisville Horror Con May 16-17

If there had been Horror Cons a long time ago, organizers would have been scrambling to book the likes of Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, and Vincent Price. In 2026, however, our horror icons have switched genders. Think Neve Campbell from the Scream movies or Jamie Lee Curtis from the indomitable Halloween series. And, by all means, do not leave out Linda Blair.

There was a time when the San Diego Comic Con was the only con getting the big names. But times have changed. Today, Louisville Horror Con is big business, and it has booked, among others, Linda Blair, who played the demon-possessed child Regan in The Exorcist, for the May 16-17 extravaganza at the Kentucky Expo Center.

Many of your favorite stars of classics like Scream, Freddy vs. Jason, Hocus Pocus, Ghostbusters, Pet Sematary, Donnie Darko, and others will participate in panel discussions and will be selling autographs, selfies, and their various booths throughout the Expo Center. Selfie and autograph sales are cash only, as are the tickets purchased at the door on the day of the event.

In addition to panels featuring your favorite horror stars, there will be discussions about demonic possession in pop culture, make-up, "where faith meets horror" (fascinating), and cosplay. One panel will even offer an adult special effects class.

As for Linda Blair, I do not see her name on the selfie/autograph price list, so she may not be selling any. But you can still meet her, and that should be more than enough for any good horror fan.
