Lainey Wilson has absolutely exploded in the world of Country Music. She is all over the airwaves, racking up at awards shows, and even inspiring fashion as bell bottoms and scarves are everywhere you look.

This past weekend, my co-host Chad and I were in Memphis, and we saw ladies of all ages rocking the bohemian cowgirl style. I love all of the leather and colorful patterns that make up Lainey's signature look. Throw in some cool necklaces, bracelets, and rings and it's a whole vibe!

The most important aspect of the outfit though, is the hat. The cherry on top! I know a lot of gals who think they can't rock a hat. If you're reading this and thinking "Yeah I can't pull that off." Let me tell you, "Yes ma'am you can!" If you like it, wear it! This trend is beautiful and classic while allowing individuality.

If you love fashion and want to add some really cool pieces to your wardrobe, Brasher's Lil Nashville on 2nd Street in Owensboro, KY is hosting PL Yates Customs for a pop-up event this weekend. As the name suggests, PL Yates makes unique custom hat designs and accessories. Their mission is "to create unique and stylish hats to empower individuals and to express their personality, enhance their style, and inspire confidence." Well, they nail it!

Or I guess I should say, they stamp it, brand it, burn it, or however you want to personalize the hat or jewelry of your choice, the designer and artist Lisa, can make it happen. I love all of the hilarious sayings she stamps onto her custom leather cuffs. It's possible that you have seen her at some of the best markets in the tri-state like Gypsy Moon and the Chandelier Barn Market. She's also been to Brasher's before and was so well-loved, she sold out!

Lisa shared with me that she started her business in March 2019. "It started with our leather cuffs and metal clay art. Each show we did I always wore my favorite hat and I would always have someone asking to purchase it or give me a compliment on it. It just came so naturally to add the hats to our business. I enjoy creating them as much as I do the clay. Each one has their own personality."

That's because she can make them just for you! Lisa will have her gorgeous pieces for sale on Saturday October 21st from noon until 5:30 or she sells out like last time. Better get there early if you want to get first dibs. Grab you an afternoon cocktail with your gal pals and enjoy a good time at Brasher's Lil Nashville.
