It's a classic country star Twitter tease! Luke Combs has something in the works, and while nobody knows exactly what that something might be, one thing we do know is that it's coming in "two weeks."

On Wednesday evening (April 24), Combs tweeted a simple message: "Two weeks." Below, just as cryptically, he posted a link to his official website. While sparse, the message contained just enough info to have fans whipping out their tinfoil hats and coming up with their best theories about what might lay in store, from new music (a popular guess in the comments section) to additional tour dates.

Whatever the surprise may turn out to be, Combs is drumming up anticipation for it on Instagram, too. The singer posted a countdown clock on his Instagram stories counting down to the wee hours of May 9. The clock hearkens back to a recent move mounted by pop superstar Taylor Swift, who is currently embroiled in her own near-unfathomably complex social media tease for a surprise set to be unveiled on Friday (April 26).

While it's unclear whether Combs' countdown clock is simple coincidence or a nod to the scale of Swift's dramatic reveal, it's evident that country star has news of some sort coming soon.

Combs, who is the reigning ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year and CMA Male Vocalist of the Year, is currently on the road for his 2019 Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour, and recently added dates for the trek through December. He also collaborated with iconic duo Brooks & Dunn on a rendition of "Brand New Man" for the group's 2019 project, Reboot.
