Lynyrd Skynyrd formed way back in 1964. However, the band was originally called My Backyard and didn't morph into Lynyrd Skynyrd until five years later. Their legacy since cannot be disputed. In 2004, Rolling Stone named the band to their list of The Greatest Artists of All Time. Lynyrd Skynyrd came in ranked 95th on that particular list. Less than two years later, they were inducted into the Roll and Roll Hall of Fame.

ZZ Top shares a very similar history.

They formed back in 1969 and were actually inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a year earlier than Lynyrd Skynyrd. They've also won three MTV Video Music Awards. There's no doubt their video for "Legs" was one of THE most famous videos from the 1980s.

Joining Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top at the Ford Center will be Black Stone Cherry. The concert is going to be epic and it gets underway at 7pm, Friday, April 12th.
