We were all saddened by Jimmy Buffett’s recent passing. He was the ultimate life of the party encouraging fans to enjoy life to it’s fullest. His last words to his sister were even "Have fun." He is going to make sure we do just that!

This morning Governor Beshear announced that Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville is coming to Kentucky. $133.6 Million Margaritaville Resort will be built at Newport on the Levee which will create 282 jobs.

“We just celebrated our best year on record for Kentucky tourism in 2022, and with exciting projects like Margaritaville being announced, we know this success will only continue,” said Gov. Beshear. “This resort will help drive visitors to the Campbell County area, boosting the local economy and creating 282 new jobs for Kentuckians. We are grateful to these leaders for choosing Kentucky and our workforce.”

This piece of paradise will have family-friendly entertainment with all the amenities. a JWB Grill and License to Chill Bar. A spectacular pool on the 12th floor which will overlook downtown Cincinnati and the Ohio River. There will be fun shops and even a space for events. Here is a look at the one in Nashville. This is going to be SO FUN!

The magnificent resort is projected to be completed by 2026. Just enough time to find that lost shaker of salt. Thanks for keeping the party going, Jimmy!
