I'd imagine, for an intelligent guy like Kiean Washington, the sky has always been the limit.

That's never been more literally correct than right now.

Eyewitness News/WEHT reports that Washington, a student at Owensboro Community and Technical College, will be headed to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida next month to participate in a scholars program.

Kiean, who saw a poster on a wall on campus ABOUT the program, was selected for the NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars program which will run from June 24th through the 28th.

It's a program for STEM students (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) who are interested in pursuing careers with NASA or in a NASA-related field.

We offer HUGE congratulations to Kiean, who excelled in OCTC's Tech X program and plans to major in physics at Western Kentucky Universirty, for this exciting opportunity.
