Governor Andy Beshear had already prohibited overnight stays at state parks around Kentucky. Now, two of them are completely closed.

Saying, in his daily press conference, that "we are trying to keep as many of our state parks open for people to hike and get outside and get exercise," Beshear made the tough decision to close Natural Bridge State Resort Park and Cumberland Falls State Resort Park.

He went on to say, "Where we have seen crowds gather in a way to where we know we have to take action in those individual place we are taking action."

One action the governor had already taken, in addition to the "overnight stay" directive, was closing state parks between 7PM and 7AM.
