Let’s See How You Score in a Game of ‘Never Have I Ever: Owensboro Edition’
I came across a meme called "Never Have I Ever: Kentucky Edition." Maybe you've seen it or seen one like it. It's a game in which you give yourself a point for everything on the list you have done. I remember these sorts of things popping up at the beginning of the COVID pandemic, but they've stuck around, and I'm glad. They're fun diversions. Let's take a look at a few of the selections.
Ale-8-One
I have to confess that I never really liked Ale-8-One until the company began manufacturing a "zero sugar" variety. Now, I'm a big fan. I do wish the other flavors had a zero sugar version, though. Score one for me.
'LOU-uh-vull'
I've never pronounced Louisville any other way. What I enjoy is hearing sports analysts and announcers call Cardinals games. Pros like Jay Bilas and Dan Shulman got the memo, but the icon, Dick Vitale, still says "Louie-vill," which is totally fine. Oh, and score another one for me.
Hot Brown
"Eaten a hot brown" is on the list, and, to that, I say, "Duh." Actually, I wonder if you can get more points for every additional hot brown you've eaten. I'd win easily.
Red River Gorge
I'm a bit ashamed to admit that I have never been to Red River Gorge and its majestic natural bridge. Double shame on me for being thiiiiiiis close to it last year and not having time to include it on our itinerary. No points for me on this one.
Now, let's get to "Never Have I Ever: Owensboro Edition." Will you get a perfect score?
