OPD Reports Owensboro Assault Victim Passed Away

The Owensboro Police Department are reporting the death of a 58 year-old male assault victim Saturday in Owensboro. The suspects are in custody.

On Sunday, June 18th, 2017, at approximately 11:47 a.m. the Owensboro Police Department responded to 1815 Prince Avenue in reference to a traumatic injury call. First responders located the homeowner with multiple facial injuries.

The investigation led to the arrest of Ashley Stinnett and Aaron Wright for the charges of Assault, 1st Degree and Burglary, 1st Degree.

 
On Saturday, June 24th, 2017, Owensboro Police Department detectives were notified that the assault victim had passed away at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy and present their findings.
