Crews have been working to get the lights installed on the Glover Cary Bridge in downtown Owensboro, but weather had something else in mind.

Recent meteorological events forced the project into delay mode, but work is scheduled to resume this Monday, August 17th.

Beginning this Monday, northbound motorists can expect a lane restriction from 8AM until 4PM each day through next Saturday.

As expected, a temporary traffic signal will be in place and drivers should allow extra time to get to their destinations.

Work on the southbound direction will be finished this week.

Over-dimensional loads will need to use the bridge between 7PM and 5AM.
