Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade Announces Parade Starter

The Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade Association has announced the Official Parade Starter at the 82nd annual Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade!

Congratulations goes out to Miss Reese Boswell who has been named the Official Parade Starter of the 82nd annual Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade! This Meadow Lands Elementary student embodies the heart and spirit of Christmas. She is certainly deserving of blowing the whistle to start the parade fun.

“It is always a joy to bestow this honor on a young person who is so very excited about being a part of our annual celebration and one that is dedicated to making those around her better in every way possible. Reese embodies Christmas spirit and the joy of the season,” stated parade committee volunteer Kenny Williams.

Miss Boswell is 11 years old and is in 5th grade. Her family must be SO proud as are we!

The Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade takes place on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 beginning at 4:30pm in downtown Owensboro.
