Bayli Boling once dreamed of being Miss Daviess County.  A couple of years ago, that dream came true.  Then she set her sights on being crowned Miss Teen Kentucky.  And guess what?  Over the weekend in Lexington, that dream came true as well and, now, Bayli is headed to Washington D.C. to compete for the national crown!

Bayli will now travel to the nation's capitol in July where she will represent Kentucky in the Miss Teen United States Pageant.  We are very proud of Bayli and wish her well as she competes for the crown on a national stage.

But Bayli isn't the only local contestant who performed beautifully over the weekend.  In fact, three local girls placed in the Lexington pageants.

Alexandra Watts, a former Miss Teen Daviess County, was crowned Miss Jr. Teen.

And Hayley London, another former Miss Daviess County, placed 2nd runner-up in the Miss level pageant.

A big congratulations to all the local ladies who competed at the state level and an extra big "You better werk!" to the gals who placed and took home crowns.  We can't wait to watch you represent Owensboro when you compete nationally!

Miss Teen United States Pageant is one of the largest pageant systems in the United States.
