Owensboro Moms! Celebrate the Kiddos Returning to School at Brasher’s Lil Nashville

Can you believe summer is almost over? I swear it gets faster and faster every year. Or maybe you've had the pleasure of spending every waking moment with your children and the past couple of months have felt like an eternity.

Well, never you fear! The first day of school is fast approaching. August 7th for several districts in the area. I know for sure Owensboro Public Schools and Daviess County Public Schools begin that Wednesday. It's always so fun seeing everyone's back to school pictures to commemorate the day.

For those of you who are more than ready for those kiddos to be back in school, you may even feel like celebrating the start of the school year. That's why our friends at Brasher's Lil Nashville are once again hosting the 3rd Annual Moms & Mimosas morning in downtown Owensboro from 9AM to 12PM.

I got to go last year and it was such a blast. Just a bunch of cool moms hanging, listening to music, and yes, enjoying some mimosas. Tamarra had a whole spread of different juices and fruit as well as Bloody Mary fixins, coffee, and donuts! This year, she is adding to the spread with two glorious words. CHICKEN. MINIS.

And the dress code is whatever you want it to be. Roll out of bed and put on a robe and slippers or get all fancy with a gown and pearls. Either way, grab your fellow mom friends and party but not TOO hardy. Y'all know that pick up line at the end of the day is gonna be a BEAST.
