Do you remember when Taco John's was located on Frederica Street in Owensboro around 30 years ago? It would be glorious and delicious if they'd return! Olé

Let's grab a bite and go down memory lane. # throwbackthursday

Taco John's started as a taco stand in Wyoming in the late 60's and exploded into an empire with close to 400 locations throughout the U.S. And, at one time on Frederica St. in Owensboro. When you got out of the movies, took a lunch break or wanted a late night snack, Taco John's was the place to go. Then they closed around 30 years ago and now a Dunkin' Donuts stands in it's place. Well, I say it's time to bring them back!

I LOVE Taco John's and stop whenever we are in the Henderson area. The crispy golden Potato Olés® with cheese are a must. Street Tacos, Taco Bravos and Breakfast Burritos oh my! So much deliciousness to choose from and served up in a fast-casual atmosphere. I love them all! What's your favorite items from the menu?

They also run weekly specials for .99 Tacos and Burritos which is great on the pocketbook and children love it. Plan to save room for desert too.

Taco John's where the food is fresh, prepared right, and comes out fast! And, hopefully soon in Owensboro!

While we wait for our very own Taco John's you can visit any of these locations:

1949 US Highway 41 N - Henderson

1076 N Main St – Madisonville
