
Owensboro Police Department Announce Drug Trafficking Arrests Made in Owensboro
The Owensboro Police Department have arrested two men in connection with a drug trafficking operation in Owensboro.
On Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at approximately 5:43 p.m. members of the Owensboro Police Department Street Crimes Unit along with Detectives from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at 521 Jeff Place.
The warrant was a culmination of several months of investigation by both departments into a methamphetamine drug trafficking operation. During the search of the residence investigators located over 500 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of $12,000, along with digital scales. These items are indicative of an ongoing drug trafficking operation.
