Watch Owensboro History Come to Life at 'Voices of Elmwood'

How much do you know about Owensboro's history? What about the notable people who lived here and paved the trail before us? Have you ever wandered through a local cemetery and wondered who is buried under the centuries-old elaborate headstones?

Those characters come alive at an annual storytelling experience like none other. Tomorrow night, the 18th annual Voices of Elmwood kicks off with future performances scheduled over the next three weeks. Ten local actors portray real historical figures as you travel through Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery on wagons.

Directed by Carolyn Greer, Voices of Elmwood 2025 will commemorate the 80th anniversary of WW2. "Our stories include those of the brave men and women that served in the military as well as the stories of people that served on the home front." as shared via press release.

This event is produced by the Owensboro Museum of Science & History in collaboration with The Daviess County Public Library. The performance dates are:
