Keith Todd, with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, said," This milling and paving project runs along U.S. 60/Henderson Road from near the KY 279 intersection at mile point 6.3 extending eastward to mile point 10.179 at the end of the U.S. 60 Wendell Ford Expressway, a distance of about 3.8 miles."

Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers.  Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic.

The target completion date for the road project is October 15th, 2019.

Todd also added, "As a reminder, U.S. 60 West remains closed near the 6 mile marker in Daviess County at the west end of this work zone for reconstruction of about a ½ mile section of U.S. 60 between Owensboro and the Stanley community.  The extended closure includes a marked detour via KY 1554, KY 56 and KY 279.   Through traffic between Owensboro and Henderson should travel via the Audubon Parkway."
