Paws Town Named 2019 SBDC Pacesetter Award Winner!

The Kentucky Small Business Development Center named Paws Town, a "New Startup Business Pacesetter Award Winner"! WOW. What an honor.

Only five "New Startup Business Pacesetter Awards" were handed out this week, throughout the state of Kentucky, and one of our own was included! The cities that won this award were, Newport, Paint Lick, Pulaski County, Lexington AND Owensboro!

In July of last year, we introduced you to Paws Town, Owensboro’s only indoor/outdoor turfed pet daycare and boarding facility. Boy, have they come a long way in such a short time! I had the chance to talk with Dana, the co-owner of Paws Town and she choked up talking about this award.

This is Dana with my furbabies, CoCo and Lucy. When we first brought CoCo home to live with us, she had trouble adjusting and acted out. The team at Paws Town were super patient with her and helped her learn to adjust. Take one tour of this facility, meet the staff and you'll understand why they received such a big honor.

Dana said, "We're just so humbled by all of this". She went on to add, "We couldn't have accomplish what we have without our amazing employees, We're so appreciative of our loyal customers who allow us to love on and care for their pets".

Congrats to Paws Town for being recognized and for the amazing honor. Way to make Owensboro proud.
