Perry County ‘Run for Your Mother’ 5K Run/Walk Set to Begin Sunday Morning at 8

What an awesome idea for Mother's Day. This Sunday morning, in front of the Perry County Visitor's Center, a 5K run/walk will begin at 8 to celebrate moms.

Participants will walking or running this untimed event in honor of their mothers.

Registration will begin Sunday morning at 7 at the Visitor's Center and each registrant will receive a "Run for Your Mother" t-shirt.

All proceeds from the event will benefit  the ACC/Perry County Leadership Career Paths Endowment Fund.

The registration cost is $25 per person.

Individuals registering with immediate family members will only need to pay $20 if there are at least four family members participating and they must be paid together.

The 5K run/walk is sponsored by American Colloid Company, Perry County Wellness, and Road ID. Other sponsors will be announced at the event.

It's going to be a great event for runners and walkers of all ages, so make plans to attend, celebrate your mom, and help a terrific cause.
