The other night, I took the dogs outside to potty and play like always. As soon as I opened the door, I heard the most beautiful music coming from the direction of Kentucky Wesleyan.

If you live in the central/Wesleyan Park Plaza area of town, I'm sure you heard it too, and if you remember from last year, there is a very cool reason we are getting free concerts in the evenings. The Phantom Regiment, a world-renowned traveling drum and bugle corps, is back in town until the end of June to rehearse before going on tour.

Phantom Regiment Back at Kentucky Wesleyan Summer 2025

They moved onto campus at Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY, on Monday, May 19th, and will work through hot days and nights to perfect the performance that they will take on the road. In the comments on their Facebook page, you can see how excited folks are that they are back in the Bluegrass.

Phantom Regiment Academy 2025

Do you know a high school or college-age musician who would like to improve their conducting, leadership, color guard, and percussion skills? The incredible instructors from Phantom Regiment are hosting summer camps. Several of them are in their home state of Illinois, but one of them is in Evansville, Indiana, from June 22nd to 25th.

Where Can I See Phantom Regiment Perform in 2025?

Phantom Regiment will perform their mind-blowing marching show across the country. If you are within driving distance of these locations, you are in for a treat!

Looks like Evansville has a stop in July! Last year, the group opened their Owensboro dress rehearsal to the public, so hopefully they will do that again. Here is a video of mynd, their production from 2024. Absolutely stunning!
