Did someone say pizza? If you’ve been craving a familiar slice of hometown flavor, the wait is almost over. The Pizza Place in Beaver Dam is getting ready to reopen its doors, bringing back the same menu, atmosphere, and the same small-town charm people have missed. With a soft opening expected Friday and a full reopening planned for next week, the excitement around Ohio County is already building.

A Comeback Worth the Wait

The Pizza Place isn’t trying to change what people already love. The Leach family, the new owners, is keeping things just the way folks remember. The menu will stay mostly the same, which means all those go-to favorites aren’t going anywhere. And yes, the breadsticks everyone keeps talking about are coming back too.

I have to say, this one hits home for me. Pizza is my favorite food, always has been. If there’s a meat pizza on the menu, that’s exactly what I’m ordering. So hearing this place is reopening with those same familiar flavors makes it even more exciting.

Karen Moore said it simply: “This makes me so happy.” That pretty much sums it up.

Right Where You Remember It

Nothing’s changed about the location. The Pizza Place is still right there on 3rd Street in Beaver Dam. It’s just a new chapter with new owners stepping in to carry things forward.

Mary Chinn Tierney shared that they’re planning a soft opening on Friday, with a full opening early next week. It gives everyone something to look forward to!

Yes, The Breadsticks Are Back

If you’ve been following along online, you’ve probably noticed one thing keeps coming up: the breadsticks.

“I’m so excited! I’ve missed their food, especially the breadsticks!” Brittany Luttrell wrote. And she’s definitely not the only one thinking about that first order.

Trey Smith added, “Can’t wait, missed that pizza!” Short and to the point, and hard to argue with.

A Perfect Stop Before a Night Out

One of the things I love about Beaver Dam is how easy it is to turn something simple into a full night out. You can already picture it. Grab a pizza with friends, maybe order a basket of those breadsticks for the table, and then head over to a show at the Beaver Dam Amphitheater.

That sounds like a pretty great evening to me!

More Than Just a Meal

The Pizza Place has always been about more than what’s on the plate. The jukebox is still there, ready to add a little fun while you eat, and the atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly.

There won’t be alcohol served when they reopen, but that keeps the focus where it’s always been. Good food and good company!

With weekly specials planned and a community already counting down the days, it’s clear this reopening means a lot. It’s not just about pizza. It’s about bringing back a place people have truly missed.
