Big news for Owensboro's Rebecca Greenwell. She has been drafted by the Washington Mystics of the WNBA.

Greenwell's career from high school until now has been nothing short of phenomenal. She just wrapped up her final season at Duke where she became the first Blue Devil to score 1,800 points (1,874), grab 600 rebounds (761) and made 200 three-pointers during her tenure. She is now the fifth leading scorer in Duke Women's Basketball history. She is just the second ACC player to sink 70 or more three's in her college career.

She hit record 301 three-pointers over four seasons which ranks her fifth all-time in the ACC.

The 6-1 Owensboro native was selected by the Washington Mystics at seventh in the third round, 31st overall. She will be joined by Louisville's Myisha Hines-Allen who was drafted seventh in the second round Thursday night.
