Robbery at Franey’s Food Mart on Carter Rd in Owensboro

The Owensboro Police Department responded to the Franey’s Food Mart on Carter Road on a report of an armed robbery overnight. They're looking for tips from the public.

On Thursday, July 19, 2018 at approximately 02:10 am, the Owensboro Police Department responded to the “Franey’s Food Mart” at 817 Carter Road on a report of an armed robbery. The suspect, described as a black male, presented a weapon and demanded money before fleeing the business on foot.

Detectives are investigating and anyone with additional information can call OPD at 270-687-8888, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270687-8484.
