See Rock City’s Enchanted Pumpkin Patch This Halloween
If you've ever driven through Tennessee, you've seen the iconic "See Rock City" painted on barns encouraging travelers to explore the magical trails and caves in the walking garden. I've always wondered what the hype was. If you've ever been, you know it's the mix of breathtaking natural beauty and really cool sculptures and hidden treasures within caves.

For Fall and Halloween, the park transforms into an Enchanted Pumpkin Patch atop Lookout Mountain. It is a Halloween experience for all ages with incredible displays, sculptures, and over 1,000 hand-carved pumpkins! The pumpkin patch is "spooky not scary," so it is perfect for anyone who wants to have "Halloween fun without the fright!"

Fog covers the trails as you "ooh" and "ahh" over the massive art installations built by a team of 11 full-time artists. From the swinging bridge to the stone pathways that wind through the rock formations, cliffs, and lush gardens. Even though you basically climb up and down a mountain, the trek really is not difficult at all.

For Halloween, there will be performances featuring Bumbling Bewitched Scarecrow along Legacy Lane, nature-inspired characters named Usnea and Cedar, and musicians playing on Perch Deck.Appalachian Folk Music by Matt Downer, the Ol’ Time Traveler and fiddle player Owen Saunders

When we visited during the regular season, we were there for a few hours taking it all in. You'll definitely want to give yourself time to do the special Halloween activities. Like The Cursed Cauldron, which is described as "an interactive beverage experience for both kids and adults where guests concoct shimmering brews and delicious potions."

Pair that with some fresh-popped Kettle Korn by Choo Choo Kettle Corn and pumpkin painting at Prospector's Point, and you are in for a core memory-making trip. The Enchanted Pumpkin Patch runs from Sept. 18 through Oct. 31 at Rock City. Visit their website here for tickets and more information about the experience.
