Today here at WBKR, we launching our a brand new contest.  It's called the Rubber Duck Regatta!  And, yes.  We're going to round up 92 rubber ducks, launch them into Diamond Lake, for an epic race across the pond.  Here's how to get snag your very own rubber duck, which could win you an exciting prize at the Regatta!

WBKR'S "RUBBER DUCK REGATTA" CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES

Contest period: Weekdays:  Monday, March 8th through Friday, April 2nd.

To play, listen to 92.5 WBKR each weekday between 6:00am and 6pm CST.  Each day, there will multiple chances to get qualified with our Rubber Duck Regatta cue-to-call.  There will TWO chances each weekday with Chad and Angel (6am to 10am), ONE chance each weekday with Barb Birgy (10am to 2pm) and ONE chance each weekday afternoon with Dave Spencer (2pm to 6pm).

During the final week of qualifying (March 29th through April 2nd), there will THREE chances to win with Chad and Angel, ONE chance with Barb and ONE chance with Dave Spencer.

Plus, for those who were unable to qualify and win a rubber duck on air, there will be an exclusive last-minute qualification opportunity via the WBKR app.  We'll give away our seven remaining lucky ducks via the app on Thursday, April 1st.  Barb Birgy will announce those lucky qualifiers during her midday show.

How it works:  When you hear our RUBBER DUCK cue-to-call, be Caller #9 on the WBKR studio lines (270-926-WBKR, 1-800-844-WBKR or use the WBKR app and hit the CALL US button).  Caller #9 will win a 'Lucky Ducky" for the Regatta.  Each duck will be numbered (in the order of giveaway) and that will be your numbered duck for the grand prize event, which will take place on Saturday, April 3rd at Diamond Lake Campground and Resort.

Grand Prize Event: All qualifiers MUST be present to win at the Rubber Duck Regatta, which will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 3rd at Diamond Lake Campground and Resort.  The grand prize event is a MASK-MANDATORY event and social distancing measures will be in place and be strictly reinforced.  But everyone will have a prime viewing position around the lake where the Rubber Duck Regatta will occur.  Registration will begin a 10am that morning.  The Regatta will begin promptly at 11am.

Full details about the Regatta will be unveiled the morning of the event.  There are a variety of variables (most notably wind) that will determine in which direction the ducks will be floating (and competing) across the pond.

Prizes Available:  First, second and third prize (for the duck that crosses the "finish line" 1st, 2nd and 3rd) will be a 3-day, 2-night stay at the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida.

If you snag the trip to the Holiday Inn in PCB, here's what you can expect!

All winners must provide their own transportation and are responsible for additional expenses.  WBKR and the Holiday Inn PCB will provide what is outlined in the prize redemption certificate.  Winners may also choose to book additional nights at the resort leading up to or following their complimentary dates.  Those requests must be made by calling the Holiday Inn Resort PCB reservation line- 800-633-0266.

In addition to trips to the Holiday Inn Resort in PCB for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, we also have these prizes up for grabs:

4th Place: 2 season passes to Holiday World, which is celebrating its 75th Anniversary year!

5th Place: A Diamond Lake Campground and Resort Prize Package featuring: a one-night stay in the Tiny Lake House, 4 Go Cart tickets, 4 mini golf passes and one Diamond Lake pizza!

6th and 7th Place will win a 4-pack of tickets to see The Crashers live at the Beaver Dam Amphitheatre.

Additional rules and considerations for WBKR's Rubber Duck Regatta:

Winners must comply with all of the rules of the Contest, including, but not limited to, any restrictions on age and/or residency, and have not committed any fraud or deception in entering the Contest or claiming the Prize.

The winners must affirm and represent that he/she is not an employee or agent of the Station or any sponsor of the Contest and is not a member of the same household of any such employee or agent.

In consideration of the receipt of the Prize, the winners agree to be solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or other fees, including, but not limited to, any federal state or local income taxes, that are or may become payable as a result of participating in the Contest and/or receipt of the Prize.

The winners agree to allow the Station and/or its designees the right to use winners’ names, likeness, portraits, recorded voices and/or biographical material for an unlimited period of time in order to advertise, promote or publicize the Station and/or the products and services of any of its designees.

The Station is not the manufacturer or distributor of the Prize. With respect to any claims that the winners may now have, or that he/she may subsequently acquire as a result of the possession and/or use of the Prize, the winners acknowledge and agrees that he/she shall look solely to others in the chain of production and distribution of the Prize to the exclusion of the Station and any sponsors of the Contest.

The station makes no warranties of any kind with respect to the prize, including, but not limited to, any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Station hereby expressly disclaims any and all such warranties.
