Kids' D.I.Y. Birdhouse Workshop Coming to Daviess County, KY

Looking for a fun activity to share with your kids? Get them out of the house and into nature this fall! There's a free hiking event where they'll also learn how to build a birdhouse of their very own. It's a great learning activity to do with your children. They'll have a blast! Pre-registration is required to attend.

BIRDHOUSE BUILDING WORKSHOP

The Daviess County Fiscal Court in conjunction with Daviess County Parks, Daviess County Audubon Society, and Owensboro Home Depot is planning a fun day of learning in nature at Panther Creek Park. Your children will learn how to build a birdhouse and go for a guided hike at Panther Creek Park on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 starting at 11 AM. The event is free and open to the public. Nathan Meredith from Owensboro Public Schools will be teaching the birdhouse building class. Special thanks to Owensboro Home Depot for donating the birdhouse kits!

Steve Hahus of the Daviess County Audubon Society will lead the guided hike.
