Horror Fans! You Can Meet Freddy Krueger at ScareFest in Kentucky
Horror fans here in Kentucky are about to get a really cool opportunity to meet a scary movie icon. Robert Englund, who originated the role of Freddy Krueger in The Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, is the marquee guest at this year's ScareFest Weekend.
The 14th Annual ScareFest Weekend, which promises attendees the "sinister side of Comic Con" runs October 21st through October 23rd at the Central Bank Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
ScareFest Weekend, the largest show of its kind here in the U.S., promises a truly unique and "frightening" experience for folks in attendance:
The show draws fans from all over the country for three days of horror. paranormal & other fandom filled entertainment. Fans can shop from 150+ unique and unusual vendors; meet and get autographs from their favorite stars of horror movies as well as many other genres, attend workshops, seminars, Q&A panels and more.
Of course, this year, that means the opportunity to meet Robert Englund, the original Freddy Krueger.
There will be other celebrities at ScareFest Weekend as well. That list includes Lance Henriksen from Aliens, Pumpkinhead and more.
You'll also have a chance to meet Kane Hodder, who has played Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th franchise.
And Robert Patrick, best known for Terminator 2: Judgment Day, will be on hand as well.
