School Bus Driver Suspended for Texting While Driving [VIDEO]

For the love of God, is receiving or sending that text THAT important? Is it? I wonder how many tragic accidents we have to hear or read about before it sinks in to some people how dangerous that is.

This video is circulating the Internet and with good reason. A Tampa, Florida school bus driver was caught texting while driving the bus by a quick-thinking 14-year-old student.

The driver has been suspended and the incident is being investigated.

On October 1st, it will become illegal to text while driving in Florida. I thought it was already the law of the land. I guess legislators have been hoping that people would have the good sense to realize what a hazard it is to participate in this particular activity while driving.

Quick lesson: When you text while driving, you are taking your eyes off the road. It is impossible not to. So, please, knock it off!
