We announced yesterday that after nearly 109,000 votes, Jeff Boehman took an impressive 2nd place (20,373 votes). Now, it's time to crown the Sexiest Factory Worker, and it goes to someone who stole the show and the hearts of voters.

Brad Richard Takes the Sexiest Factory Worker Crown!

Brad Richard of Thermwood Corporation has officially been crowned the Sexiest Factory Worker in the Tri-State with a whopping 33,786 votes! What started as a quiet nomination quickly exploded into a tidal wave of votes from friends, family, and coworkers who cast ballots multiple times a day to bring home this well-deserved victory. Brad’s hard work, dedication, and genuine heart captured everyone’s admiration.

More Than Just a Factory Worker! A True Everyday Hero

Brad’s friend Kalene Rumley shared a heartfelt nomination that perfectly captures why Brad stands out. From waking up before dawn to tackle mentally and physically demanding CNC machine alignment, to being the ultimate farm-hand and loyal boyfriend, Brad goes above and beyond every single day. Scarred knees, an aching back, long hours, nothing stops him from giving his best and helping those around him.

"I am nominating Brad on behalf of my bestie, his girlfriend, Hannah. They don’t actively listen to WBKR, so they have no idea this contest is going on, but they both deserve a trip, especially Brad. He wakes up every Monday through Friday at 4 am to get to his work by 6 am. He enters work with a positive mindset and genuinely seeks the positive aspects of his job. He doesn’t have an easy job either; he is responsible for aligning CNC machines that, in turn, keep the majority of all other industries running. Alignment takes a lot of mental energy, along with physical energy. He has golf ball-sized scar tissue balls on his knees from being on them for so long, his back is constantly hurting him, and yet he still loves what he does. He has even been dedicated during some of the hardest times for him, like family emergencies and other family issues. He has even started going to work earlier and getting home later so he can drive his girlfriend to and from work out of chivalry. He truly is the definition of a sexy factory worker.

To add to Brad’s character… my boyfriend and I have a farm that we run on top of being fully employed. We always feel like we never have enough time to get anything done, but Brad is always there to help us. It doesn’t matter how tired he is. It doesn’t matter what kind of day he had. He shows up and cuts logs, fixes fences, builds chicken coops, repairs barns, gets his hands deep in pulling calves, runs to the food store or the vet for us because “it’s on his way home. I can tell you right now the vet's office and the feed store are not on his way home, but he does it because he wants to help. He is truly one of the most giving humans, and not only do his friends at work recognize this, but we as his friends do too. He works with us in the pastures until 10:30 pm every night just to get 5 hours of sleep and do it all over again the next day. Brad also works a lot of overtime when his work gets behind, but that doesn’t stop him from still coming to help others. He is the most loyal employee to Thermwood, the best unpaid farm hand anyone could ask for, a wonderful boyfriend to my best friend, and, most importantly, embodies the ‘sexy’ part of a man that makes him the only choice for the winner of this competition. Official Contest Rules

1) Submit photos through the WBKR app from Monday, July 21st, through Sunday, July 27th, 2025, at noon.

2) To submit photos via the WBKR app, access the Menu Tab in the upper left-hand corner. In the drop-down menu, find Submit Photo/Video. Enter the appropriate information (Name, Email, Phone Number, and Description of Media), then choose Select and Submit Media Now. Upload your photo. **In the Description of Media box, please include the name of the factory worker whose photo you are submitting, what makes them sexy, and where they are from.**

3) WBKR will compile all entries and display them in an online gallery, accessible at WBKR.com and via the WBKR app. **Photos deemed inappropriate or NSFW will NOT be included in the gallery and will be ineligible for prize consideration. All decisions made by the WBKR staff are final and indisputable.**

4) Online voting will be open to the public beginning July 28th through August 3rd, 2025, at midnight.

5) Beginning Monday, August 4th, WBKR will announce the Top 5 (determined by YOUR votes). We'll unveil and showcase the 5th Place entry on Monday, August 4th, the 4th Place entry on Tuesday, August 5th, the 3rd Place entry on Wednesday, August 6th, the 2nd Place entry on Thursday, August 7th, and the Winner on Friday, August 8th, 2025.
