Shooting Reported on Deer Trail in Owensboro

Police are currently on the scene of a shooting, in the 3100 block of Deer Trail, in Owensboro. Here's what we know.

An ambulance has left the scene and the victim, who was shot in the stomach, was conscious.

A police K-9 is searching the area, as the suspect has fled the scene.

Because this is an active situation, Audubon Elementary School is currently on lock down. Here's a post from school officials.
