Owensboro’s Sons of Habit to Play CMA Fest; New Song Out Tomorrow!
Oh, heck yeah, baby! Last year, the Sons of Habit attended the CMA Fest as fans. This year, they return as performers! Great news today from one of my favorite local bands, as the full lineup is released for one of the biggest country music events of the year.
The Wrangler Remix stage isn't gonna know what hit 'em when Jeffrey counts off the first song. Or when Dalton's majestic mane blows in the wind as he plays an epic guitar solo. The crowd will go wild for Hagan's bird sounds and banjo pickin'. And yes, the ladies will swoon over Mitchell's powerful voice and heartfelt lyrics. I haven't even mentioned the moment Noah slides a steel-covered finger across that pedal guitar!
Shew wee! Lots of folks are going to become "Fans of Habit" in 2026 for sure. I asked Mitchell what they were looking forward to most. He said, "We thought last year was crazy, but the new opportunities & new music we have coming right now are life-changing."

You see, the boys have been working with some pretty big names down in Texas. Spending quality studio time with producer Taylor Kimball. He is responsible for some great records by Koe Wetzel and Treaty Oak Revival. As well as a little group called Ole 60. Maybe you've heard of them.
Working on their first official album has been amazing to say the least. The first single has now dropped! We all know the story of Madeline, but now Annabelle takes the spotlight. "The response before it's even been released has opened so many doors we never thought possible." Mitchell shared," So many exciting things we'll be announcing over the next few weeks."
Appearing at the Railbird Festival in Kentucky has been a dream of theirs, and later this year, they'll even tour overseas in Europe. We already know they are hitting the road with Flatland Cavalry & Dylan Gosset, but there are more dates with some huge artists to keep a lookout for. This is some real bucket list stuff here, y'all, and it couldn't be happening to a better group of guys.
So talented, so down to earth, and SO READY for another unbelievable year. We'll be here to cheer them on, listen to their songs, buy their merch and concert tickets, and keep you updated on everything to come. Be sure to download Annabelle wherever you get your music. Rumor has it, you may hear it on your favorite country station for New Music Monday.
