At this point in my life, maybe it's a good idea to stop adding things to my bucket list, but I know me, and that's not likely to happen. As unrealistically lengthy as it may get, that list grows a little every week thanks to social media showing me things I want to see and places I want to visit.

The Memphis Pyramid

Every time I've visited Memphis, or merely passed through, there's the iconic Pyramid. It's the home court for the Memphis Tigers and the Memphis Grizzlies, and NCAA/NBA basketball courts are enough for me. But it's also a freaking pyramid, and I need to go.

Actually, I've always wanted to go, but now I've learned something about this eye-catching attraction that's sort of upped the ante, if you will. I've also always known the Pyramid houses a pretty large Bass Pro Shops, a national chain that always plays more like a tourist attraction. (Makes sense, then, to put in the Pyramid, right?)

Big Cypress Lodge

Now, however, I've discovered what many before me likely already know. There's a Big Cypress Lodge in the Pyramid, and it looks like the decor and furnishings all came from Bass Pro Shops. "Rustic" is a big win for me. Here's a quick tour.

Right now, I'm envisioning an exciting adventure during which you don't leave the Pyramid. Catch a Tigers or Grizzlies game while staying in the Big Cypress Lodge; hang out at Bass Pro; then ride to the top of the Pyramid.

An adventure all under one roof. Well...under one pyramid point, but you know what I mean.
