Why Should Halloween Have All the Fun? Spirit Christmas Opening A Location in Kentucky

Over the weekend, Owensboro's Spirit Halloween opened in the old Joanne's Fabrics location. I know there are lots of folks who love to shop the decor, fashions, and costumes there and other local spots like Halloween Havoc, Ghostly Productions, and T.D.'s.

The Nick Nackery in Evansville is also a popular shop for all things spooky, but what if there were similar stores for all things snowy and sparkly? You walk in the door and instantly feel the Christmas Spirit? If only there was the perfect name for a place like that...hmmm...

Spirit Christmas Expanding to 30 U.S. Stores in 2025

The company responsible for thousands of nationwide Halloween pop-up shops conducted an experiment last year. They opened several Spirit Christmas store locations in the Northeast to see how shoppers would respond. Well, I guess it was a hit because they have announced that they will expand last year's regional efforts to the Midwest.

What is Spirit Christmas Like?

Here's how the store is described on their website: "Visit us this fall for a unique holiday shopping experience. Get your family photos with Santa while exploring aisles full of Christmas magic. Discover thousands of stocking stuffers, holiday apparel, fun gifts, unique décor, plus all the special trimmings for creating an unforgettable Christmas."

Kentucky Spirit Christmas Location

The good news is, Lexington, Kentucky, is on the list of Spirit Christmas stores to open later this fall. It will be located at Hamburg Pavilion at 1980 Pavilion Way in Lexington, KY 40509. If you are a little Christmas elf, it would be worth hopping in your sleigh and heading on a road trip! Maybe if our single shop does well, they'll consider adding more in the future!
