Over the years, I've grown to love all of what south central Kentucky has to offer. For starters, I've always been a fan of Bowling Green, but there's a lot more to the region than just its largest city.

There are so many beautiful lakes, fun attractions, and a certain cave that's pretty big.

Drive up Interstate 65 about 36 miles and you'll find Horse Cave, where you will ALSO find the Horse Cave KOA Campground and PLENTY of reasons to consider it for a weekend (or more) getaway.

Plus, they're getting ready for an exciting Halloween with Happy Camp-o-Ween which will feature, among other things, a hot cocoa bar, which sounds extraordinary.

The beauty of it is that it could be your home base while you went and explored all there IS to explore in the area.
